The International Optimist One Design (the Opti) is a pram that is sailed world wide. There is no minimum age, the maximum age limit is 15, there is no minimum crew weight, and it is sailed with a crew of one or two.
There are four different racing fleetsGreen Fleet – First year students, 
White, Blue and Red Fleets are separated by age, skill and event regulations.

The International Laser and the Laser Radial are cat boats (1 sail) dinghies sailed with a crew of one. The minimum age requirement is 14. The Laser is an Olympic class and are also used for Frostbiting at HYC in the winter season, November through March.

The Club 420 is a sloop with a spinnaker. (Not being used this year)
Today there are 3000-3200 Club and Collegiate 420s in over 350 sailing organizations. The Club 420 is the junior boat of choice at more and more schools, clubs and sailing organizations across America and now Canada.
