The HYC harbor is one of most sheltered on western Long Island Sound. There are numerous slips and it is situated in an area with many things to do. In addition, the club follows a year-round social calendar with activities that make full use of our extensive and attractive shore facilities.
HYC is a club with a primary emphasis on boating and seamanship. The club offers a full range of boating activities that support power boats and sail boats. These include cruising, yacht racing, frostbiting, fishing, sail boat racing, and a junior sailing program. The harbor facility includes a marina, floating docks, moorings and winter storage. All activities are listed under the “Sailing” menu above. Most of these activities are also open to non-members. Information for visitors about the club is listed under “Our Club”.
