If you prefer, you may pick up a paper copy from Kristen can complete by hand.  Kristen will have hard copies available on request.

 If you do not respond, the 2020 yearbook data will roll forward into 2021.

 Additionally, If you would like a second Membership ID card printed with your spouses’ name, please complete the relevant spouse fields on the form on the form exactly as you want it on the card.  Otherwise both cards will be issued with the members name.

Attached please find the 2021 Yacht Owner Questionnaire for Marina, Floating Docks, or Mooring space.

Accurately and timely completion of this form is required by all yacht owners.   The completed questionnaires and vital to the operations, legal requirements and slip assignments for the summer.  

Please complete the form and return it and proof of insurance to the office by no later than February 1, 2021.

Selected HYC Yachting Rules and other Concerns

1. …“There will be no fee refund if a member removes his yacht during the season (as defined in the yachting rules) for any reason. In the event of disputes arising from these rules, the respective committee shall make the final determination.”

2. “All yachts using club facilities shall be maintained in “Bristol” condition, as established by the respective Committee, while the club is in commission. Except for emergencies, all yachts using the club facilities must be maintained in a seaworthy and operating condition…”

21. “All yacht owners must carry at least $300,000.00 liability insurance to cover possible damage to boats or club facilities. Either a certificate of insurance or a photocopy of the declarations page of the policy must be furnished to the club annually with the application for dockage or moorings.”

27. “All yachts must be launched by shore station commissioning day. Boats not launched by shore station commissioning shall be relocated at the discretion of the Shipyard Chairman with a service charge to the owner. In addition, a $0.35 per foot per day charge will prevail.”

  • If you are planning to purchase a larger vessel, you must contact the appropriate chairman and submit a written request indicating your new space requirements. Please be aware of available space; failure to do so may result in no space being available for your needs.

  • Winter-Wet storage vessels must be moved to their assigned summer slip no later than April 1, 2021. Please plan accordingly

  • To ensure that all members are treated fairly, all assignments of space will be based on current assignments, the current waiting lists and the best utilization of all club space and facilities.

  • The committee chairmen will begin to make assignments based on forms received as of February 1st. Late forms will be assigned space that is still available on the date the form is received. There will be no assignments without a form.
